Article 1

“VELOS' C.C- Bottecchia under the aegis of “REGION OF CENTRAL MACEDONIA” and HELLENIC CYCLING FEDERATION in cooperation with the Municipality of Thessaloniki and Lagadas,  organize “4^th INTERNATIONAL CYCLING RACES – THESSALONIKI2015” at 26-27/09/2015.

Article 2

The races will be run under the UCI regulations, it concerns the Men-elite and Juniors category and is open to continental, national, regional and club teams, approved by their National Federations. Teams must be formed of 4-6 riders and 2 attendants, international license holders.

Article 3

All the participants accept the present Regulations and take part to the Race by their own responsibility. The organizers have no responsibility of any eventual accident, loose or material damage of bicycles, clothes e.t.c.

RACES  SCHEDULE

Saturday 26-09-15

ROAD ENDURANCE RACE, 134 km.

Itinerary:Lagadas-Assiros-Dorkas-Nikopolis-Ossa-Avgi-Sohos-Skepasto-Limni-Stefanina-Vamvakia-Redina- N. Kalindoia.

 10:00 Arrival of the riders at the starting line-Signatures

 11:00 START OF MEN- ELITE, JUNIORS cat. Lagadas square

 11:05 START OF OPEN Cat.

 14:30  FINISH OF ELITE-JUNIORS  N.KALINDOIA  

 15:00  AWARDS CEREMONY ELITE-JUNIORS

 15:30  FINISH OPEN Cat.

 16:00 AWARDS CEREMONY OPEN                    

Sunday 27-09-15 

 INTERNATIONAL CIRCUIT 45km

Itinerary: White Tower-N. Germanou-Tsimiski-Salaminos-Nikis Av.-White Tower

10:00 ATHLETES' ARRIVAL AT THE STARTING LINE - SIGNATURES

11:00 START OF OPEN CAT.   (8 laps Χ 4.5 km)

12:00 START OF MEN-ELITE, JUNIORS CAT. (10laps X 4.5km)

13:00 FINISH OF RACE

13:30  AWARDS CEREMONY  

The Technical congress will be held at the “CITY HALL OF LAGADAS” on Saturday (26.09.15) at 09:30. The presence of the representatives of the teams at the T.C is obligatory.

The secretariat for Elite and Juniors will be open from 10:00 to 10:45pm at the same area.

As far as the circuit, the Secretariat will be open from 10:00 pm Sunday 27.09.2015 at the area of White Tower.

Article 5

a. All the riders are obliged to sign to the starting list at least 30 min. before the departure.

b. The helmet is obligatory

c. The riders have to put on the numbers that will be distributed to them by the organization.

d. The 3 first riders are obliged to appear to the podium for the official ceremony. In the opposite case will be imposed the appropriate fine according the rules.

Article 6

No vehicles are allowed at the Circuit, except a common service car, provided by the organizers.

In endurance road race, the team’s vehicles have two numbers (in front and behind) according the individual classification of the first day's race.

Article 7

Feeding is allowed from the team’s vehicle, according to the UCI regulations, after the first 50km and before the last 20km.

Article 8

The finish deadline for the first race (road endurance) is the time of the winner augmented by 20%.

Article 9

AWARDS CEREMONY

A cup will be awarded to the 1^st rider of each day and a medal to the first 3 riders.

Article 10

MEN-ELITE, JUNIORS CATEGORY

We ensure lodging and feeding from 25 September’s night, until 27 September’s midday for all your team. (4-6 riders +2 attendants)

OPEN CATEGORY

Participation fees:  20 €  for one race, 30€   for both.

For all the riders of OPEN Category will be offered a meal after the endurance road race.

For anything not mentioned at the present Regulation (disciplinary measures, course modifications, e.t.c) responsible to decide is the Race Director, the Commissaries Panel and the Organizer of the Race. All the decisions must comply with U.C.I. Regulations.
